Gather a group of three or more or your friends and/or relatives and we will customize a private art class to suit your needs. Below are a list of some of the current classes that we are teaching for the summer/fall season and that can be taught around your schedule.
Expressive Watercolor - 3 Sessions

For beginner and intermediate level painters seeking to be expressive and bold with watercolors and gouache media. Be introduced to the basics, or refresh rusty skills.
Kim will encourage you to be fearless in this fluid and vibrant medium. Photo references provided and individual instruction. For one of the three sessions Kim will take you outside, weather permitting.

Painted Floorcloths, Placemats or Table Runner

Painting on repurposed vinyl has never been easier or more versatile.
We'll work on pre-primed vinyl and make your choice of floorcloth, table runner or placemats. Discussions and demonstrations will cover materials, planning your design and looking at a wide variety of painting techniques from stenciling to free form painting, finishing tips and any technical tips for troubleshooting.

Paint Your Own Furniture - 2 Sessions

Do you have a great piece of furniture kicking around the house that you have always wanted to paint but didn't feel you had the know-how? Have no fear. This introductory class will teach you how to paint, distress and wax your furniture. Just bring in your piece (something small like a side table, chair or stool) and in these two sessions you will leave with a newly painted piece and the ability to tackle your next project on your own...maybe your kitchen cabinet

Farmhouse Painted Sign - Workshop

In this workshop you will make your own farmhouse sign, using chalk/latex paint as your main material. We will provide easy word transfers or you can paint your own on provided barn board. These make ideal gifts or are great for a porch or entryway. Come home with a beautiful sign to call your own.

Gelli Printing - Monoprinting on a Gelatin Plate
2 Sessions

This is printing like you have never seen it! You will learn how to print on a gelatin plate with acrylic paint. We will use stencils, stamps and all sorts of textured materials to create really interesting layered prints. You will be astonished by the results! This is fun, easy to learn and completely addictive!
